Description

Damian Lewis returns to the London stage in this new production of Edward Albee’s The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia? at the Theatre Royal Haymarket

First produced on Broadway in 2002, The Goat or Who is Sylvia is the story of Martin, a married, middle-aged architect, his wife Stevie, and their son Billy. Their lives fall apart when Martin falls in love with a goat and by showing this family in crisis, Edward Albee challenges the audience members to question their own judgment of social taboos.

The Goat won a Tony award, a Drama Desk award and the Pulitzer prize for drama and this new production is directed by former Royal Court Artistic Director Ian Rickson.
