About Girl From the North Country

Featuring songs by Bob Dylan, The Old Vic presents the world premiere of Girl from the North Country for a strictly limited season.

With songs entwined throughout, Girl from the North Country is names after Dylan's 1963 song. Set in the 1930’s during the great depressions in Duluth, Minnesota, it is the story of a family trying to stay afloat against a backdrop of lonesome customers coming and going through the family's guesthouse.

Girl from The North Country is written and directed by Conor McPherson whose previous plays include The Weir, Dublin Carol and Port Authority
