Join us for an unmissable full-length concert performance of Bizet’s most celebrated opera, Carmen. Featuring internationally acclaimed, multi-Grammy Award winning Joyce DiDonato as Carmen and renowned Michael Spyres as Don José.
Conducted by John Nelson, the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra bring Bizet’s searing score to life. Featuring Carmen’s most memorable melodies, from Escamillo’s Toreador Song to Don José’s heart-wrenching Flower Song. This event continues a series of high-profile concerts and recordings by Joyce DiDonato and John Nelson, which have included Berlioz’s Romeo & Juliet, Damnation of Faust and Les Troyens.
